Ryan’s Hope: Virtual Adult Programs

Established in 2012 by the Monaghan family in memory of their son Ryan, Ryan’s Hope was created to support adults grieving the death of an important person in their lives. Over time, it has grown to address the many facets of adult grief through compassionate, community-based support.

Ryan’s Hope: Virtual Adult Programs offer adults a safe space to connect with others, share their experiences, and receive support during times of grief and loss. These programs are tailored to the unique needs of adults. Groups are designed around both the cause of death (such as substance use or suicide) and the relationship to the person who died (child, parent, spouse/partner, sibling). Each group is facilitated by Peter’s Place program staff and is offered at no cost to participants.

Virtual Group Offerings: 

Partner / Spousal Loss Support Group

There are many facets of grief following the death of a partner or spouse. Explore the emotions that surround the loss of this personal relationship. Coming together with others in a supportive environment can provide connection and compassion during times of grief and loss. Please join us in this virtual space to share your feelings or listen to the words of others who are experiencing a similar loss. Those over the age of 26 whose spouse or partner died are welcome to attend. Enrollment is limited to 12 participants.

This virtual Zoom group will begin on Tuesday, February 24 from 6:30-8:00pm and meet every other Tuesday ending Tuesday, June 2. REGISTRATION OPENS MONDAY, JANUARY 5. A link will be available here.
