Peter’s Place Welcomes Four New Directors

Radnor, PA, July 2024 – The board of directors of Peter’s Place, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting grieving children and families, has added four new members and elected a new executive committee member.

The new members of the board of directors are Chris Ciatto, former chief executive officer of several high performing health care organizations; ; Catherine Fries, LCSW, therapist, owner, and clinical director of All of You Therapy; Leashia Lewis, assistant athletic director for DEI/director of UNITAS of Villanova University; and Mary Kate Lo Conte, partner of Merz Branding.

“I am excited to welcome these new members to the organization. As we continue to grow, we look to add diverse perspectives to our board leadership. Our new members will add valuable life and career experience and tremendous energy to the work we do in support of our mission. We look forward to their guidance as we embark on year two of our three-year strategic plan, ensuring that no child grieves alone,” said James G. Staples, principal of Jim Staples Consulting LLC, chair of the Peter’s Place Board of Directors.

The new member of the executive committee is Michael S. Jackson, chief legal officer of Strother Enterprises, Inc., board secretary.

About Peter’s Place: Peter’s Place is a center for grieving children and families. Founded in 2001 in memory of Peter Morsbach, who died suddenly at the age of 10, the nonprofit is the first family grief support agency of its kind to serve the Philadelphia area. Peter’s Place offers a range of programming, including peer support groups at its Radnor center; school-based programs in Bucks, Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties; postvention services for communities experiencing collective grief; virtual programming; and professional development services.
