Larry Ambrose had his life change in an instant when his wife Chris suddenly passed away, two months after giving birth to their eighth child. Supported by family and friends, the community, and wonderful organizations including Peter’s Place, they managed to persevere one day, one hour, one minute at a time.
Now 13 years later, and with wisdom of experience, Larry shares how he navigated life as a single parent, including what works, what doesn’t, and what he could have done differently, topics that will be included in his upcoming book.
Our goal for the presentation is for each participant to come away with knowledge and practical advice to help them better navigate their families’ journeys when overcoming loss.
Larry is a lifelong resident of Chester County, PA and along with his fiancé Dawne Jacoby, are living their purpose as co-founders of Grit2Grace, a company designed to offer hope, inspiration, and everyday life solutions to those in need.
