Peter's Place - A Center for Grieving Children and Families

Peter's Place is 10!

Peter's Place is 10 and 300 partygoers dressed in green came to the Badlwin School on May 14th to celebrate! An enthusiastic committee of 60 was lead by cochairs Jane McNeil, Gina McHugh and Jennie Seward. Guests enjoyed dinner by Jeffrey Miller Catering, dancing with The Quake, a live auction and raffle, and watched the premier of a new video featuring children and families served by the center. The wildly successful event raised over $125,000 for Peter's Place. Take a moment and view the fabulous photography - graciously donated by Tracy Clark Photography, which truly captured the evening.

As we celebrated the vibrant community of children, family, schools and volunteers that makes up Peter's Place, we took a moment to acknowledge our roots. Peter's Place would not exist today with the vision and generosity of these individuals: Sarah Fergusson Brown, Susan and Walter Buckley, and Susan and Robert Burch. At the event they were recognized and presented with a hand-crafted tray that represented the children that Peter's Place serves.
